Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Service

Who we are:

The pelvic health and perinatal physiotherapy services care for women and men in Bristol,
North Somerset and South Gloucestershire at the University Hospitals Bristol and
Weston NHS Foundation Trust and North Bristol NHS Trust.

What we treat:

We treat a wide variety of conditions in both women and men including bladder and bowel
incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, antenatal and postnatal aches and pains.

Self-referral to Pelvic Health Physiotherapy

If you live in Bristol, North Somerset or South Gloucestershire you will be able to self-refer to see a member of the pelvic health physiotherapy team.

Depending on your preference, you may be seen at either St Michael’s Hospital (BRI), Weston Hospital, Cossham Hospital or Southmead Hospital.

We can also accept referrals from your GP, Consultant, Midwife or other healthcare professional.

Please be aware that if you are referring yourself for symptoms of pregnancy-related pelvic pain, it is likely that you will be seen in a group session. This may be online or in person.
